The event was set to start with a gripping fireworks display. However, the cameras caught Sheamus pulling up to the arena. Cesaro rushed out of the emergency exit to confront him. The two would end up locking up in the parking area, Sheamus would catch Ceasro off guard with a quick right hand followed by a steel pipe right between the eyes. Ceasro fell to the pavement and before Sheamus could do any further damage with the steel pipe, security rushed in escorting Sheamus into the building. while EMS arrived and attended to Ceasro. Jim Ross would announce shortly after, Ceasro would be unable to compete in tonight's match and Mr. Ace would be replacing him in the match.
(meanwhile in the arena)
Inside the ring with the unexpected challenger Rob Van Dam. Razor waves him off and flicks his toothpick at him after a pose down. Rob dominates the first quarter of the bout with his acrobatics and quick pace. Razor tried to avoid Rob by moving to the outside of the ring, Rob underestimated Razor and tried for a suicide dive through the middle rope. Razor had just enough time to step aside and use Rob's momentum against him to drive him head first into the stage. Razor would go on to set the pace for the bout however, Rob would recover and reverse several of Razor's moves, even kicking out of several close pin falls. Razor would get taken down for the five-star step up, and in mid flight Razor moved allowing RVD face planted the mat. This allowed Razor to finish Rob Van Dam off with a top rope Razor's Edge putting him down for the count. Winner: New European champion 1.contender Razor Ramon
Jim Ross would recap the current events surrounding the next contest. Undertaker's streak versus Andre's streak. Jim Ross, however, was interrupted with the arrival of the eighth wonder of the world, Andre The Giant. Andre arrived, to the ring being accompanied by Millionaire Ted. Ted shouted his praises for the giant as the two walked around the ring taunting the audience at ringside. The millionaires fun would soon come to an end as the familiar cold chill fell over the arena. The Undertaker's arrival was not taken lightly by the giant. Andre steered clear of the ring allowing the man from death valley to enter.
In the opening moments of the match, Undertaker taunted Andre. The Giant seemed to fear The Undertaker and wanted nothing to do with him. Ted tried to convince Andre he was just a man. Andre tried to go after the Undertaker, but it appeared he had scouted his every move. Undertaker used his gloved hand to catch Andre with a huge throat thrust after countering one of Andre's moves. Andre fell to the mat and struggled to return to his feet. The Undertaker stalked Andre as he slowly made it to his feet. In an impressive, feat of strength The Undertaker reached over and pulled Andre over into a tombstone piledriver! He dropped him on his head and before he could capture the pin- fall in what would be a record-breaking match. Ted jumped into the ring and struck the referee down. Ted grabbed the winded Undertaker in a million dollar dream. Undertaker broke free and choke slammed Ted straight to the canvas. Meanwhile Andre struggled up to his feet while the referee regained his senses, and before the referee could call for the bell. Wall Street rushed the ring in a referee attire and tossed out the referee. Andre worked on The Undertaker for a few minutes, and after a huge knee the Undertaker went down and popped right back up. Andre then began to panic and began spouting something in a foreign language. Andre reached over and tossed Wall Street in Undertakers path. Undertaker caught him with chokeslam. Undertaker then chased Andre down and clotheslined him over the top rope. The referee finally stumbled to his feet and called for the bell. Winner- NO ONE Double DQ.
Security rushed the ring and kept the two apart, while Ted called for the trainer. Andre laid on the mat outside the ring complaining about his back. EMS was dispatched to ringside and while it took eight men and women to pull Andre back to his feet. Andre stumbled out of the arena screaming something in a foreign language at The Undertaker who stood tall in the ring.
Jim Ross discussed the next match while Bruno made his way to the ring to a standing ovation. The European Champion Shawn Michaels would follow him with a great reception of his own. Shawn Michaels shook hands with Bruno while the referee displayed the belt to the both of them, he then rang the bell. The match was officially underway as one side of the arena chanted for Bruno, while the other chanted for the champion HBK!
Bruno would dominate the first quarter of the match using his power and size to his advantage. Shawn quickly learned with his quick reflexes he could out-pace Bruno and wind him easily. Bruno would try for a waist lock, but HBK was able to get free of his grasp and come back with an amazing flying forearm. HBK nipped up and followed it up with several right hands to the forehead of Bruno, with a dazed Bruno, HBK caught him with a rocket dropper and tried for the cover, but Bruno powered out at two! Bruno would try to mount a comeback but Shawn was able to interrupt it with a super-kick out of nowhere. Bruno happened to be at the ropes and on impact, Bruno fell out of the ring and to the floor. Shawn fell to the mat and appeared to be gassed and unable to move! Meanwhile, the referee leaned out the second rope seeing Bruno was clearly out on the floor, the referee began the long ten count. Bruno tried to get back to his feet and return to the ring at the count of eight but before he could climb back into the ring, the referee finished the count and awarded the bout to HBK. Winner- By Count Out Still European Champion Shawn Michaels
Jim Ross would leave the announce table and catch Bruno with a post-match interview. Jim Ross asked Bruno what exactly happened?
Bruno Sammartino: *winded response* I came into this match with expectations I couldn't live up to. I let all of these people down, I let myself down, and all the people watching in my home town I let them down. I promised I would bring the European title home, and clearly I did not deliver on that promise. I'm disappointed and I truly am sorry to all of those who were counting on me. I will work harder, train better, and come back and take what is rightfully mine. Bruno walked away with his head hung low, allowing Jim Ross to recap the ending of the match once more.
The Untied States Championship Match.
Sgt. Slaughter Vs. Billy Gunn
Sgt. Slaughter came out with Iron Sheik to harass the crowd with their political agenda. "The One" Billy Gunn arrived with a microphone giving a few one-liners that upset the both of them and had the crowd chanting for Billy Gunn. Finally after a lot of stalling on Sgt. Slaughter's behalf the match got underway, the match was an even bout between the two, but overall Billy Gunn was victorious after using Sgt. Slaughter's planned distraction against him to roll him up for the three count. After the bout, the duo of Iron Sheik and Sgt. Slaughter ganged up on Billy Gunn attacking him during his post-match celebration. Winner: STILL US Champion Billy Gunn
After the bell, Junk Yard Dog made his debut and rushed the ring scaring away the two with his chain. He helped up Billy Gunn and celebrated with him.
Backstage, yet another superstar was down. Randy Orton was found laid out in the interview area, Security and EMS rushed to his aid. Jim Ross would later announce Johnny Ace would not allow Randy Orton to compete against the Road Warriors and instead there would be another match for the evening in the place of it for the evening. Just so happens, Bruno Sammartino got into with Sheamus backstage in the locker room and considering Bruno was checked out and had no injuries. Johnny sent both men to the ring to face one another. Johnny Ace made the match an Untied States Championship or European number one contender match. (Winner is allowed to choose)
The US & Euro Number One Contender's Match
Bruno Sammartino Vs. Sheamus
There was no entrance, Sheamus jumped Bruno during his entrance, the two fought around the ring using everything in sight as a weapon on each other. Sheamus tried to put Bruno through the announce desk, but Bruno blocked and back-dropped him into the front row! The two finally made it into the ring and the referee rang the bell. However, the referee was bending the rules just a bit. Both superstars were not concerned with the referee's ruling anyway as they kept reversing one another until finally Sheamus was able to reverse Bruno's submission send him into the ropes and followed it up with a BRO Kick. Sheamus went for the cover getting the pin-fall. Winner: Sheamus!

Curtis Axel walked down to the ring and shook hands with his father before climbing into the ring. The match was officially under way as the referee rang the bell after checking over Axel for foreign objects. This match was amazing from start to finish everyone brought their all to the match, Ric Flair and Curtis Axel teamed up on Bret Hart and Ultimate Warrior. It was short lived however and Curtis Axel would betray him and catch him off guard with a "Perfect Plex" to get the victory. Winner: NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER! CURTIS AXEL!

Hulk Hogan Vs. (c) Lex Luger
Michael Buffer introduced both men and asked everyone if they were ready to RUMBLE!
Hulk Hogan was not distracted by the changes, considering Millionaire Ted had his goon squad as Hogan called them at ringside to "ensure a clean victory" Lex Luger wasn't buying it either, both men shook hands and then dashed out of the ring and cleaned house at ringside!! Hulk Hogan tossed Ted over the barricade, Lex tossed Andre over the announce table, and then they both double teamed Mark Henry! Both men climbed back in the ring and stalked the special referee Mr. Wallstreet until he finally just backed into a corner and then ran away! Hulk Hogan called for another referee and the senior official arrived at the ring, ringing the bell once more. Hulk Hogan shook hands with Lex Luger and the two would go on to have an epic encounter. The two wrestled for an hour and neither man would stay down, Lex kicked out of three leg drops, Hogan refused to submit to a 15-minute torture rack! Both men were exhausted and clumsy and Lex happened to shove Hulk Hogan off into the referee in the corner by mistake. Curtis Axel then just appeared out of nowhere and caught Hulk Hogan right between the eyes with a steel pipe. Meanwhile, a gassed and exhausted Lex Luger laid face down on the mat and did not see what happened. Curtis Axel exited the ring in a sea of boo's as Hulk Hogan was left laying on his back staring up at the lights, Lex Luger happened to see this, thinking he was still down from bumping into the referee, Lex laid his arm over him and the referee woke up seeing the cover, counting the 1...........2.........3 Winner: Still WORLD CHAMPION LEX LUGER!
Jim Ross announced the ending on the match and closed the show with his heated commentary about the ending of the match!
